Essay Writing Contest
As per the suggestion by our Honourable Ambassador we are conducting an Essay Writing Contest for our members on the topic "The Value of Space Science in India". The length of the Essay should not exceed 1200 Words, and must be submitted through soft copy by mail / hardcopy to Mr.Shiv Raj Singh (39578646) on or before 6th December 2008. Declaration on originality to be included in the email/ covering letter.

41st Engineer's Day Celebrations
147 years ago on this day, Sir M Visvesvaraya was born. In recognition of his monumental services towards national development and for the cause of engineering, he was awarded the country's highest cvilian honour - the Bharat Ratna in 1955. The Institution of Engineers (India), including their local & overseas chapters, observes September 15th every year as the Engineers' day.
A central theme of importance is chosen for delibration on this occasion. The theme for this year is - Planet Earth. We welcome any interested member to delibrate on this with the consent of the executives of the Chapter.
Date & Time, Venue - Monday, the 15th September 2008 at 8 pm in Seminar Room, Bahrain Society of Engineers , Juffair.
